Moreno won't let that go knowing he then will need to add pop to his line-up. They'll compensate him. It will be up to him whether he wants to stay or not.

Rumors in Phi. per some beat writers there is that the Phils would be willing to deal Ryan Howard.

Then, move Burrell to 1B and with the prospects they acquire for Howard, re-direct them and some of their own to Col. for Holliday.

Lemme guess what the asking price would be for the NYY...

Hughes/Chamberlain, Jesus Montero, Austin Jackson, Alex Rodriguez (3/4 salary picked up by NYY), Skippy the ball boy, and Brian Cashman.

The Yankees shouldn't even bother to inquire.

Do you think a package for Holliday centered around Cano and Hughes would pique Colorado's interest? I would look into it if I were the NYY.

F-yeah. Hughes isnt arbitration eligible for awhile, and isnt Cano inked for a few years? That will give them two nice young players (even though Cano is a head scratcher many times). They always need pitching (heck we all can), and another solid infield bat with Atkins, Tulowitzki etc.

That's a nice deal, plus maybe another AA or AAA prospect. I don't see why that wouldnt peak both team's interest.

BTW -- this thread isnt as lively as last years.

That's because quite a bit of the percentage of posters here are either A's fans or Dodger fans & both of those teams are sucking ass right now.

There are a few Angel fans here, like me, but how many of them actually like the Tampa Bay Rays?

I thin many of the posters that were all over that MLB are now gone -- blackened, OG, Mr Hill etc.

I know mrhill is banned but I am not sure about Blackened or OG Bamm Bamm. Hopefully they're still members of this site, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Dodgers are getting hammered again. I guess they don't want to play in October.

Cubbies came from down 4-1 to win it 6-4. Aramis Ramirez "Mr.Clutch" hits a Grand slam to solidify the deal and give Lou a nice B-day present!

Man I woke up today and i'm still fuming on how awful the Dodgers have played this year. This upcoming series is pretty much do or die for them. They have to take care of business against Arizona if not, kiss the playoffs good-bye. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Jeff Kent and his B.S. all he has been is a malcontent and he needs to go after the year. Can we please stop using Broxton as our fuken closer, this fuken fat fu*k blows more saves then a prostitute blows dicks. I'm pissed man and where are all the people that praised Colletti a couple of years ago? Talking that he's our savior and this and that. Thanks for the Jason Schmidt signing Ned? J.D. Drew, Juan Pierre, etc. etc. Fukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Go Dodgersssssssssssssss!!!!

Cubbies win again 3-2 over the Phillies it was Soriano with the game winning homer. Moving their record to 85-50, 15 more wins to go.
