Ocracoke, is a unique place ~ the only way to get to it is by ferry or plane. It has the Atlantic on one side and Pamlico Sound on the other. It is startiing to gain a little exposure but to its limited accessability is still prefered by locals.

I have not been to Kure Beach, been to wrightsville beach and carolina beach but I have not gone on down to that one. Actually I like those better. Not as commercialized as where I am at. Right now I dread heading into town on the weekends, all the flipping tourists LOL.

I kick back, enjoy life sailing out to the currituck sound and listening to the waves splash against the hull of the boat. God it just does not get any better, except with a fine lady and some good old carolina home grown LMAO

Yeah.... I have never been to the Outer Banks believe it or not...

I plan to go next year sometime.
