Welcome Raider Nation to the first ever Raider Night Live! hosted by me Soulpatrol and my co creator armyraider! Tonight we sat down with Omaha to discuss Raider football and the man known as the beast chad pennington.Here is what he said:

Armyraider:What do you think was the biggest offseason acquisition of the raiders?

Omaha:Gibril Wilson, he can have a huge effect on the run defense...no where near as many long runs

Soulpatrol:With Nnamdi and hall ruling the backfield what rank do u expect our passing defense to reach?

Omaha:If Burgess returns to Pro-Bowl form, top 5, if not, upper half.

Armyraider:How beast is Chad Pennington and how does he affect the raiders?

Omaha:He should only be referred to Chad BEASTington, that is how BEASTLY he is. it will affect us in a grossly negative manner if we are unable to pull him under Al's wing.

Soulpatrol:How many picks/forced fumbles do u see Morrision achieving this year?

Omaha:I see about 5 total, don't know why that number is in my head, but probably just a gut feeling

Armyraider:Will fargas remain the number 1 back or will a younger RB emerge from the pack?

Omaha:For the beginning of the season, it will be Fargas, my feeling is that we are paying McFadden a bit too much not have him starting after about week 10, but that is just my gut.

Soulpatrol:If a meteor was on a path to destroy earth how many passes would the BEAST chad pennington have to throw at it to change it's course?

Omaha: 0 , only a thought by that BEAST would be needed to send the meteor crying home to it's momma.

Armyraider: Do you think Al Davis is still in control of this team and how far will they go or has he lost touch with reality?

Omaha:I think he is in control, but at the same time the past five seasons have shown some loss of reality.....and yes that sounds like a cop out, but we all know the decisions are Al's, but by the same token, we have not been even an average team since the Super Bowl.

Soulpatrol:I think one of the most important question on peoples minds.. what do you think about our chances at stopping the run?

Omaha:I don't think we will be in the bottom ten this year. Mostly because of the loss of Warren Sapp. His weight loss made him even worse against the run last year, and he wasn't exactly know for his play against the run before. Also Joseph, and Kelly coming back healthy paired with Sands having his mind in a better place, should put us around 20, with the added tackling power of Wilson, taking away those LOOONNNGGGG runs .

Armyraider:We've had issues with the bronco's for a few years, last year we overcame a devastating loss early in the season to win the last game we played. How do you see the future battles against the broncos going?

Omaha:Honestly, just because of Shanahan's hatred of the Raiders, things will be close this year. Especially given our "second year" quarterback. But in the end We will pull out a close game.

Soulpatrol:who do you see being our stand out WR?

Omaha:I am going to go with Walker, but this purely based on hope, I think in receptions it will be Curry

Armyraider:Over under: Tyvvon Branch will return 3 kickoffs for TD's

Omaha:Under, Got to go with the law of Averages. 2 would be a great surprise. But I think one is likely.......anything more is gravy

Soulpatrol:over/under 5 int's for Nnamdi?

Omaha:Under, people are going to test Hall in the base, as he is known for taking more chances. In the Nickel they'll go after Routt.

Armyraider:Over-Under: Zack Miller catches 70 passes.

Omaha:Under, he'll be in to pass block a little too much, in my estimation, to get that many balls thrown his way. Beginning of last season is where I draw that opinion from.

Soulpatrol:How do u feel about the story of when the beast chad pennington launched a football to the moon!?

Omaha:I truly feel sorry for that astronaut who caught it. To have your hands hurt that much as the last sensation you'll ever know........in a word OUCH!

Armyraider:Predictions- McFadden will be used in the return game during the season?

Omaha: Doubt it. You don't use a Rolls Royce to go off-roading.

Soulpatrol:how many games do u realistically see us winning?

Omaha: 6.that O-Line still scares me in pass protection, and to come from behind you have to pass, which is our biggest Achilles heel from my estimation.

Armyraider:If tom cruise were to battle out with his alter ego Galanthor from galaxy nine who would win?

Omaha:Ask L. Ron Hubbard, only he knows.

Soulpatrol:Offense and Defense will rank.....?

Omaha:18th in offense, the running game will boost that number out of the lower third of the league. Defense, if everything comes together on the d-line, 14th, mostly because of the improvements to the defensive backfield. Huff is the only liability when it comes to tackling a runner, and Wilson should prevent a lot of the long runs that killed us last year.

Armyraider:True of False- Curry becomes the number 1 receiver?

Omaha:False, he is a possession receiver.
