They would have straight up blown their tops. They would have brought up the Stanford Routt comparisons and called Al out for obsession with speedy corners. I like Hayden and I think he could emerge as a "great playah." I'm glad Reggie made this pick. It throws all the BS back into some faces. Every GM in the league lives to contain their uncontrollable lust for speedy corners who have a nose for the ball.

What do you think the reaction would have been if Al had drafted Hayden?Funny how some are singing a different tune when Reggie does it.

No problem.I,ve got a bunch of old Silver &Black illistrated issues tucked away somewere from when i was a subscriber prior to joining this site.Kinda neat looking back on what was being said about the draftees and coaching hires,team news etc.If I ever get around to finding them I,ll see if I can scan a couple articles.

Knapp....Why on earth did we hire this clown and basically throw away all the offense we,ve been building the last 2 years.The offense already had the foundation laid imo.Why dynamite it?

Wow,what a game!!!Despite the injuries,poor officiating,bad breaks,etc we still found a way to snatch victory from the Steelers.Jano kicking that FG actually gave me chills...The team has some issues but it showed heart despite facing adversity,with that and a much deserved win

I agree I believe the Raiders have some exceptionally talented young players on the roster. I am just hoping R.M does not mess it up. just to put his stamp on the team. I am also a big MLB fan. Thank goodness baseball season is around the corner because I have a feeling I am not going to be overly thrilled with ALL the moves R.M will make. I will need a distraction. lol
