    I spent 6+ years in the army as a Ranger before my wife of one year was in a devastating car accident that put her in a coma. I had to choose between putting her in a nursing home or getting out. I chose the latter and have been taking care of her myself for the last 7 years.

    I believe that just as quick as my life turned for the worst, it can turn for the better. Even with all the tragic things I've seen, I can't help but still think life is an amazing experience. I'm a passionate person who relies on instinct. I'm a dreamer but I do so with my eyes open. I'm not a saint by any means but I do have strong values. I've seen and done things I never thought possible and it's those experiences that give me hope.
