Yep...real deal but Torres did start with a HR off him. I'm really concerned about Cain. I get previous years but I'm starting to have some doubts now. It doesn't look like he is even a no. 2 at this point. I will say that I was concerned about trading Alderson and Barnes last year and both have not done very well in the minor leagues for the Pirates and Indians.
Honestly, at first I hated the move due to our long history in the Big 8. After thinking about it though it should help them in recruiting as they do recruit quite a bit out of California. And yeah man...huge San Francisco Giants fan. I actually just was able to see them for the first time ever a couple weeks ago when they played at the Nationals. Unfortunately the game I attended was against Strasburg. I guess that is a good and bad thing.
I grew up in southern Virginia so the local teams were the Redskins and Falcons. I didn't like the locals trying to jam teams down my throat and used to love watching Marcus Allen play in the mid-80's and have been a fan ever since. College brought me to High Point and furniture has kept me here ever since. I was a season ticket holder for Wake football for several years but a fan of Georgia Tech and Colorado. I have become a fan of all my favorite teams much in the same way as I became a fan of the Raiders but have always stayed true to each of them no matter what and never wavered.
