New member from the UK seeks information
Greetings from across the pond.

I came across this site using an Internet search Engine whilst looking for info on Raider players who were active when I first picked up the sport/team when it landed on TV in the UK (1984) but seemed to just 'disappear'. Back then there was no internet, few magazines and no US sports programmes broadcast to UK. I can now see where they went from pro-football-reference.com, but it doesn't say why. Could anyone shed any light on why the following left the Silver & Black:

Marc Wilson - decent numbers in 1987, nothing in 1988 and then appearing at the Pats in 89.

Malcolm Barnwell - great numbers in 1984, then washing up at the Skins in 1985, then nothing.

Dokie Williams - good to great numbers up until 1987, then nothing.

Jessie Hester - huge average per catch for two seasons (I remember reading an article saying he was the next big thing at WR for the Raiders back in the mid eighties), then a 1-30 season, then going on to put up solid numbers for the Colts


I'm expecting the answer to all of the above will be injury, but I'd be interested to find out.

I don't intend to just be an 'information sponge' on this site and will contribute to discussion pages properly once I've had a look round.
