Hi All,

Just come aboard.

I am an Aussie originally from Sydney but now living Johannesburg, South Africa. Long story as to why but am married to a South African and originally moved for work reasons.

I have been a Raiderfanatic for over 20 years. Favourite players include Bo Jackson, Jim Plunkett, Howie Long, Lyle Alzado and Lester Hayes.

My Raider highlights are my 2 "first see" live Raider games and meeting the team in London. The first in LA a few weeks after the riots in 1989. Early fears were soon allayed when I was "adopted" by a group of tailgaters who thought I was crazy to come all that way (from Australia) to see 2 games (back-to-back weeks). I was treated like family the whole day and to cap it off we beat the Donks.

The second was my first (and only so far) game in Oakland. The atmosphere was like nothing I have ever experienced.

The Raiders were in London in 1990 (if memory serves) for an exhibition game against the 'Aints. I attended the team press day and got to meet players and coaches alike including Jim Plunkett, Howie Long, Art Shell to name a few.

I am looking forward to being here and sharing my thoughts, views and perspective from a distance.
