Question Woodson is proven the best Cornerback Period...
Well after a dissapointing season as far as interceptions go yes Charles Woodson didn't put up numbers like he is used 2.....but as far as leadership and tackles and run support....Woodson is the only thing consistant on the raiders secondary..Look at some of the other so called best corner's in the league's all around stats...Tackles and Forced Fumbles....You'll see who's the best corner......Al Davis knows what's up wit him....He's the football version of kobe bryant.....so young done so much already......He's somewhat just like Moss in they really are the best at their position ..but they both play when they want..!!...It's perfect now....They can both play together...For the Silver and Black.....GGGRRLLLLLLLL!!!!!!and any one who dosen't think so is a F*ckin Loser..(McCalister....Bailey...Law...)!!!NO!!!!

Whoa...slow down Supremo. I dont think its so much a question of Woodson's talent. But whether ANY corner in the league is worth 10.5mil. The definition itself of a "shut down" corner is even questioned nowadays, with the added chuck rules and incentives to score points in the NFL. I think the majority of us in the Raider Nation believe CWood is one of the best at his position. But is ANY one position on the fiels worth 1/8th of the entire teams salary cap? I vote no. The upside of bringing in someone with more heart, but maybe less talent for ALOT less cash is too great. That extra money can be easily spent elsewhere. Ex. LB, DE, S, or even added depth at RB.

He was real protective of C-Wood wasn't he?? Seems like there must be some type of real close bond there.

Look at what the vikes were able to do when they traded Moss. Dont get me wrong, we got the better half of it but they were able to fill 4 spots on their D this year. Thats alot of depth on a team that 1 player cannot match.

I would love C-wood but homie needs to make a better deal with us.
