Problem: I can't post long replies.

Example.. today i tried to make my Pre-Free Agent Mock Draft which is fairly long.. but when i click submit.. the green bar thing goes fairly slowly to half way then stops..

I don't think its RF.net thats causing this.. so does anyone know a way i can fix this?

same thing happens if i quote someone's long message and only right a short reply.. it locks up..

but the internet doesnt freeze or anything but it just doesn't submit..

Can a techie possibly help me?

Two things to try:

1. Update your Java runtime. (Click here for downloading)

2. Scan your PC with an anti-virus program AND more importantly, a spyware program. A good spyware program (Click here for download)

Did you reboot your pc after installing java?

it could be your browser, try switching.

Are you using windows IE as your internet browswer? If not, you might want to switch to Firefox. I have used it now for two years and haven't looked back since! I used to have all sorts of problems when I browsed, but now I'm browse-problem free.

I use to have problems with RFnet on IE, it would freeze a lot.. with Firefox ive had no problems.

I just looked at Mozilla's website and they have two new "dark" themes for Firefox. I think I'll switch to the black and red one.

Black and Red (Red Shift)

Or better yet,

Black (Black Japan)

I also recommend the web developers tool for firefox, very handy...
