I have been polite to everybody in here. Just because I root for an opposing team is no reason for me to be banned. I carry on a good conversation, I know my football, and I am respectful to you people. Why would you want to see me banned?

No I am not kidding. I really like it here, I love the software, and some of the fans are genuine gems - I really like some of these people, and personally, I would be bummed out if my ability to socialize with them was terminated.

I hadn't explored enough to realize such a place existed - and when I was informed, I apologized and assured all that I would see to it I get it right the next time.

You know, you bring up an excellent point - because there is some obvious confusion here.

Obviously the placement of my thread was inappropriate... although that was accidental. However, I have been viewing the threads in the Raiders Discussion area, and it seems I am not the only one who is capable of screwing up.

1) Shouldn't all those draft threads go in an appropriate thread?

2) Doesn't Fantasy Football have it's own section?

3) Does somebody's search for a wall poster belong in the Raiders Discussion forum?

4) Is the Raiders Discussion forum the appropriate place for talking about tailgating (and no - it wasn't purely designed for Raiders tailgating - many college teams are mentioned there as well) and the exchange of game day recipes?

5) Why is a video game, Madden 2004, being discussed in the Raiders Discussion forum?

6) Mine was a simple rookie mistake, but I sure haven't seen any of you jumping in to correct these other violations of system policy.

7) I understand wanting to keep things organized - but it seems that I am not the only less than perfect person who comes here... but the only one presently having it shoved down my throat with demands of having me banned.

Ranting for having me banned for something like this has all the flavor of a Jr. High clique ganging up on the new foreign exchange student. Even closer to the mark would be more like the small guy in the bar, presently going through a painful divorce, deciding to take out his frustrations by taking a swing at the big guy because he knows the larger guy is on parole and if he swings back he's going to be taken to prison.
