I'm not a fanatic, but I like to go to my local gun range and shoot, I'm a hunter, a believer of the 2nd Amendment and I own a few firearms to aid in my hobby. As per my Bio, I was born and raised in Oakland a Raider fan, and I always will be. Drop a line or two and let me know who you are and what type of shooting activities your into. I own a Glock 23 and Khar P9. The Khar is my CC weapon. I'll post some pics later.
I got a glock 23 was well with night sights. CCW and night stand gun. I like Kahrs a lot too, don't own one though
Right now all I've got is a Colt 1927 .45 I haven't been able to shoot much lately because I need to buy some replacement clips. The springs are worn out on mine where the previous owner had left the gun loaded just sitting for months and months at a time. I think my favorite gun that I have ever owned was an AK-47 (semi) with a folding stock. That was just a really fun gun to shoot, and fairly cheap too.
I love how thin Khars are. The only issue is since they are so thin, your shots tend to drift left and right a bit. Not enough to matter in a self defense situation but it's not a gun you'd use for competition. I've been looking for someone who has a Glock 19 to trade my Glock 23 with. I'm not big on gun mods. Probably has to do with me using a stock Beretta 9mm in the Army for so long and finding it perfectly suitable.
Went out to the range yesterday, and fired a few of my weapons. Had a blast....literally! The wife and I fired up the M4, Ruger MkIII, XD-9 and 10/22. Always a good time at the range. As far as future acquistions go, I think I wanna pick up a SA 1911. Still weighing some different options though.
I'm thinking about a new toy, and it might be a pistol caliber carbine. What's everyone's take on that series of weapons?
I love weapons, I shot competition for the Marine Corps for many years. Went Distinguished in 1985 with the Rifle. I love pistol shooting, I have a Sig Sauer P220 and a Glock 22. Needless to say both drive nails. My favorite is long range shooting 1000/900 and 800 yards.
Have been a fan of firearms since I was a kid. I have four hand guns, 5 rifles and 3 shotguns and still growing.
