How about if you restart this thread in a section that sees more traffic?
Like the MESSAGE BOARD or the EVERYTHING ELSE ?
Being in a sub-catagory listing... not many people take notice.

Split roughing the passer in the same way as roughing the kicker, so that there's a roughing for a deliberate hit and a less severe running into penalty where it's demed more accidental or where there's a substantial efort not to make contact

I got a rule change...Well more like a riddle.

If the goalline really extends "around the world", then why don't they just chalk a line up around the world? you know just to make sure.

Just think we would have 64 random lines going around the world.... The bigger question is would any of the lines overlap? or cross? Food for thought

Defensive backs can touch the receiver until the ball is in the air. (pre1977 rule)

The Quarterback is a football player and can be HIT, maimed, or otherwise assaulted as long has he has the ball in his hand.

When a player is in bounds, he can be pulled down by anything but his headwear.

The QB's don't get radio communication with the coaches, they have to call the damn plays like the real QBs did back in the day.

1. The team kicking off gets one point if the kickoff goes through the upright.

2. A player should be ejected if he gets two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, kind of like two technical fouls in the NBA.

1. Only one foot needed in bounds for a reception.
2. Change overtime to the college system except that if you score a TD (even in the first OT) you have to go for 2
3. If the ball only has to cross the line for a score it should be the same for punt touchbacks

Interceptions that are tipped up by a WR should not count against a QB. Count them towards a DB, but not against a QB. (Brett Favre would have about 100 less INTs in his career...lol)
