Porter confrontation...
How come that dolt (sorry can't remember which one it was) didn't get in trouble for pushing Porter and later head-bunting him? Hope this isn't a "girlie" question, but I am a girl, ahahahahhahaa

Because the Dolts got all the love last night. How come Lorenzo O neal didn't get called for a personal foul after hitting Danny Clark in the back of the head last night?

For some reason the Ref's were not calling anything last night. Seriously Oakland didn't even have one penalty called against them. The last time that happened I wasn't even born yet. The last time it happened was in 1971.

Yeah I saw that smack too. Now would it have been different if it were a Raider pushing and hitting??

The refs were good last night.
What I look for is consistancy. They let a lot go - (tons of holding). But in the final analysis they were consistant and let the teams decide the game.
It was certainly better than the free for all (flags on every play) that has become the norm.
As for your specific question: You just can't throw flags for "pushing". This happens a lot and is part of the aggressive nature of the game. Even though these are often after the play and really silly and stupid. This game is about "controlled" aggression and one could argue that pushing after the play is not controlling yourself but really JP was not going to be injured, intimidated or even really bothered by the incident. IMO
Let the guys play and the refs can the game changing, flagrant stuff.
