Increasing size??
I play middle linebacker for a team in england and obviously the game isnt taken as seriously over here so i havnt been given any tips on how to get bigger. does anyone have any weightlifting drills that would help a linebacker and tips on what to eat?

take some weight gainer and eat healthy... no junk... eat hella steak, liver, pastas, chicken... dont drink any soda or booze.... when u work out dont stop until u cant lift anymore and if you feel the blood flow through ur veins then your doing good.... drink hella fluids though... the weigh gainer alone should be anywhere from 1000 - 2000 calories... u atleast want to eat an aditional 2000 just of food.... but it all depends on how much weight u want to gain and how bad u want it....

thanks for the info, i weigh 190 lbs at the minute and i'm 6'1. my ideal weight is prolly about 230lbs, better get eatin and liftin

Legs, Legs, Legs and more Legs.
So much of football strength relies on your legs. Squats, lunges, clean and jerks, leg curls and leg extensions are your leg's best friends. Too many highschool kids focus on what they bench. But this can work to your advantage because most football strength at that level is in the legs. Also, lift under supervision as much as possible!! Your better off lifting less weight with a controled motion than lifting heavy weights that force you to break form. Good Luck!

Take Protein and Creatine.,,,,Protein 4 times a day and Creatine twice a day,,,,Also here is a list of generic vitamins that also help.... I havn't put on any weight but, I put on alot of muscle mass. I was about 175 before the summer with some fat, now I am 185 with minimal fat.
Vitamin B6
B12
Vitamin D
Cod Liver Oil
Niacidimede
Mutlivitamin..
Also make sure u run alot,,,,,300's and 80's are good.

I take CELLMASS, NO-EXPLODE, and WHEY PROTEIN...though the 1st 2 arent cheap they have done well for me and am getting excellent gains...
