Lol.....boxing is dead. And no, I am not an MMA fan either. Boxing, horse racing, tennis....dead, dead, dead. People still pay for boxing matches?

Not at all. The numbers completely support the decision, which is what you have to rely on when the fight is as close as this one was.
When you're the challenger it's your job to come out and take the fight to the champ, not fight defensively/conservatively and hope they hand it to you.
Marquez didn't take anything away from Pacquiao. He avoided him and occasionally landed some nice clean shots. If he wanted to take Pacquiao's belt, he should've gone after him.
Punches Thrown:
Pacquiao 578
Marquez 236
Punches Landed:
Pacquiao 176
Marquez 138
Power Punches Thrown:
Pacquiao 117
Marquez 100
Funny how no one in the Pacquiao camp cried about a fix when they fought to a 'draw' the first time. One of the judges scored the first round wrong, and it cost Pacquiao the victory.

Back on the current topic; Defense doesn't take the belt away from the Champ kids. It's revealed that Clements scored the first round 10-7 for Pacquiao instead of the 10-6 score that a three-knockdown round normally should get. Had he made it 10-6, Pacquiao would be a split-decision winner.

I'm a Pac fan and thought Marquez shaded it but it wasn't a travesty.
Mixed feelings.
Not a shock though.
this fight was pretty even, so when it goes to decision its always gong to be the agressor in the rounds (pacman) the guy with the most landed (pacman) that ends up with the win.
- Thanks to Blackhole John for the sig!
The fight that had me losing faith (the three judges have since been suspended) was the Paul Williams vs Erislandry Lara fight. Lara dominated Williams and hit him at will yet somehow the judges gave the decision to Williams. That was a horrible fix type fight.

Floyd too quick for Pac. Destruction.
