Well, your first draft seems open to weakness - having your #1 WR (and player overall) and #1 QB from the same team could be disasterous if something bad happens to that team. I'd also question the logic of spending your first pick on Steve Smith - yes, he had an amazing year last year, but I think he'll decline, especially with Keyshawn opposite him. It's better for the Panthers but worse for Smith's fantasy numbers. Not to mention that means your best RB is LaMont Jordan...good chance he'll burn out down the stretch without a good backup to take the load off.

The second one seems a lot better in that you got a bona-fide stud (Tiki Barber) and have LaMont as your #2 option rather than #1. Only weakness I see here is QB again - Bulger was hurt last year, and Brunell could suddenly hit the age wall at any time.

Well, it does look like he was drafting at #10 in the first and #7 in the second. Barber's a good pick at #7. Not many guys I can think of should go ahead of him - Larry Johnson, LaDanian Tomlinson, Shaun Alexander...that's about it.

Steve Smith is a pretty bad pick, even at the end of the first round though.

Wrong. A good balance makes your team. 1 star RB isn't supposed to cover the rest of your miserable lineup. You need to draft people that are consistent week in, week out. Also pick explosive players.

it all depends on the scoring system. It's way too early for a fantasy draft for my taste though

Team 3 is pretty good. Good balance. They only bad pick is Chad Pennington. I think his career is over. I do remember that you are big Aaron Brooks fan and I noticed that you did not select him on one of your teams. Must be lack of confidence or reality setting in if these are money leagues.

I do. i've played fantasy for 4 years now, 3 leagues each year, and never have i once dropped below 2nd place in any league. I won first in ALL my leagues last year.
