FF idea for rf.net

i don't know if anyone would be up for this, but i've done this on other forums and its pretty cool.

i know jaycee has created two leagues for ff and i'm trying to get people together to do another, but the idea is having a tier-style league that carries over from one year to the next. for example, this year we'd start with three 10 team leagues. vip1, vip2 and vip3. the way this would work is that top 4 from vip1 along with the top 3 in vip2 and vip3 would makeup vip1 the next year....this way we have a competitive no-money league amongst rf.net members who are the best of the best...and through the years we develop a comraderie of sorts talking smack to each other.

we'd need three people to play commish for each league and come up with a standard scoring system (i prefer ppr). anyone down for that idea?

sound good to me.It keeps the leagues competitive.You just have to replace the teams that dont keep up with their teams.You would end up with only serious teams

exactly. this makes vip1 the creme of the crop and the most active of the leagues, but in the league that i've participated in every year for the last four years, every league minus the last league vip6 is very active.

Nice.It sucks when you have 3-4 teams that just never show up after the draft
