I sure hope so....what I really hope is that SF wins three in a row!
Sorry to start another McFadden thread, but this is based on a specific constatation.
The New England Patriots just ran about 30 pass plays in a row with most of the time an empty back field. Saying that they are pass happy is an understatement. I now have a hard time believing they will pick him. If they do they should justify it by using him more that they use Laurence Maroney right now. I think they are VERY happy with what they do now and I dont see it happening.
I will agree that they played the Steelers today and chosed to avoid attacking the run defense, but I dont think there is place in this offense and under that cap for a franchise back. It will depend on if they can keep all Welker, Stallworth and Moss, but if they do I dont think McFadden will be a Patriot.
They could do a pick and trade or a trade and pick however. They pick him and trade him to the NFC and keep him away from the Jets. They will listen to offers thats for sure.

Mcfadden, Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Brady, with the way they play, their TEs and the other kid RB as a back-up, or sharing duties -- WOW. That would be fun to watch.
fantasy football section? lol
it's a fanatasy to have that line-up...
It wouldn't make a lot of sense, there's only one football and as long as Brady is there they are gonna be a passing team. But if they can't find a trade partner they may just take him. He is versatile, he can line up in the slot and throw on the half back pass. I hope not, so much for competetive balance!
New word for me bro. LOL. What were you going for there?Sorry to start another McFadden thread, but this is based on a specific constatation.
