What are most Raiders fans that you know like?

As this is slow time and there are a bunch of other sports going on, I thought I would ask this. What do people mean when they say they are a "fan". Take me for example

I am a dedicated Raider fan. Season Ticket holder for 4 years. I know the starters on both sides of the ball. Only NFL team for me.

I also follow all the other Bay Area teams. I like it when the A's win. Don't really care if they lose. Unless it is playoffs. Know a bunch of players. Have an A's hat. If someone asked me, I would say I am an A's fan. But if they like the A's the way I do the Raiders, they will think I am a total loser.

I was also happy for the Giants when they won the World Series. Been to a couple of them. Cheered when everyone else cheered. I am happy that they are doing well.

Same thing with the Warriors and the Sharks.

So my question is, what are most Raider fans like? I assume if you are here, you are actually a pretty dedicated fan.

Dislaimer: This is NOT a fan FIVE-0 thread. It was just based on observations of myself during the beginning of the baseball season and playoff hockey.

It's a spectrum, it's not a black and white thing. Some fans are just people who are happy if the Raiders win. Then, there are the die hards who know every game we are going to play in order, know the depth chart for every position and post on internet forums during the off-season. Both of these groups have equal right to don the silver and black and revel in the joy if we ever hoist the Lombardi again, but the latter is more invested so they will experience a much steeper emotional roller coster than the casual fan.

I don't really follow any other sports closely (although I've gotten into Starcraft 2 more lately, do e-sports count?), root for the Lakers in the playoffs and will watch some games then, but can't really get into the basketball regular season much at all.. Baseball is like watching paint dry most of the time for me, never got into hockey..

There's just something about football, a mixture of brutish power, speed, athleticism and outthinking your opponent all rolled into one

Hardcore Giants fan, have been for a while but my blood runs silver and black. I do however try to look at the game on the whole to see the bigger picture -- I've become more of a fan of the game as opposed to merely a fan of the Raiders. I don't get to a lot of games because of life's commitments -- one daughter who's a hardcore volleyball player and the other who's incredibly active in theater. And, mix work, workouts, a wife and it doesn't leave a whole lot of Sundays available. Oh well, Go Raiders!

I'm a college student studying chiropractic in Australia. Been a fan for around a dozen or so years. Even though I'm young I occasionally think that 12 years back is a long time considering the only way to get info on the Raiders at the time was to read the score in the a small fine print on the end page of the sports section of my local paper. Much easier now with the internet! I travel to the Bay Area once a year around November/December once my college year is finished and attend at least one home game, sometimes 2 if there are two in a row. Best thing about being a Raider fan is that it's so diverse. Race, colour, creed, none of that matters. The only thing we see is the Silver and Black. For any problem one may have going on in their lives, no matter how big or small, they are forgotten about and hope is given for 3 and a half hours on Gameday as millions of Raider fans around the world unite as one for one cause, just win baby!

I have great respect for that man. That (expletive) runs hard, I mean harder than anybody I've ever seen

Just like A's general manager said in the movie, how you cannot be romantic about baseball.. I sure enjoyed seeing Josh Hamilton's 4 homeruns in one game last night..only 15th player to do that..4 homers game is more rare than perfect game. I follow the Cubs and watch Indians b/c I have the channel and they play every night.

Raiders are the only professional team from west Im a fan of. Im a sports junkie so I follow NFL,NBA,MLB and NCAA. Cubs,Bulls, and Notre Dame fan, here. I even attend minor league baseball games. I love to sit back and hear the bat crack.

I like the Houston Astros, the Houston Rockets, European Soccer, Duke B-ball, and Miami Football(NCAA).

You could combine the passion I have for everyone of those teams and they wouldn't fill 1% of the passion I carry for the Raiders. Besides my family, the Raiders and fishing are my life and I love it. Gamedays are freaking awesome!!!!!!

I am a 5 decade season ticket holder. I will attend an A's game on occasion but usually we just tailgate in the lot and don't go in. I like the Warriors about don't care a whole lot about basketball. Basically I bleed silver and black 24/7 ask anyone who knows me
