Well,

I used to be an active E-fedder (Wrestling/roleplaying/fantasy league) and I created the name and persona Gen (short for Genesis, as in the beginning, not Genesis as in the vide game system) off of a nickname I was given during HS to a certain extent. (My friends names were Exist, Myst, Difuse, and some other weird ****).

After my days as a E-fedder were over, I pretty stuck with the GEN handler and try to take on a certain characteristics.

****, I have a bio on how I became GEN...

Plus I wanted to create a name unique instead of having something simple and too concise....

My birthday falls on a 24th and instead of just putting "TheRaider24", I decided to use the spanish spelling of "The."

Oh.. I would like to explain this...

When I first started posting on message boards.. it was the late 2002 season.. and I was becoming a big Jerry Porter fan..

I was always rooting for "Jerry" during the games.. and folks watching with me thought I was a Rice fan.. and I would always say, no.. the other Jerry...

So when I joined ESPN boards.. I used the name the_other_Jerry... after about 3800 posts under that name, a bit of **** talking, I was permanetly banned for saying I dont give a f*ck about the Pats...

so I wanted to come up with a name that was similar so folks would know it was me.. and since Rice was being traded, and JP was the official #1 WR, I came up with- the_new_Jerry.... I guess because at this point he had a new role.. and I wanted to change my "rep" as a poster that talked ****.. so thus the "New" part...

and when I joined RF.net.. I still wanted posters from espn to recognise me..

there you have it...

A BIT OFF TOPIC
Back when I was in high school, Kerry King lived in Phoenix. One night, my friends came over snatched me up out of my house....we jumped in the van and went somewhere.....I didn't know where we were going....but we ended up at his house. I wasn't as good of a player as my friends, so I just watched. It was pretty cool.

Candy is my name (short for Candace) Girl part came from two sources one, I used to always get called Candygirl because of New Edition's song (which I used to hate getting called it or sung to) second, I used to rap so I would label myself different names one being Candygirl. 73 the year I was born.
