Kids nowadays are so lazy, they learn to enjoy what they are force-fed by MTV and the radio. The stuff that is getting played there is nothing but crap. Nowadays, it isn't even rap anymore. It is a club beat with someone whining/singing over it.

I'm sorry, but I lost all respect I once had for weezy after "Lick me like a lollipop." To me, that is just as bad as Soulja Boy.

He is a prime example of why I stick to nothin but underground and bay area rap.

Wayne's success came through MIXTAPES. If you know anything about the music industry mixtapes don't hit the radio, or mtv. And thats how wayne got famous.

Yes, MTV and lollipop sent him over the top. But that was AFTER he was crowned Best MC by rolling stones, best MC in the game by MTV, was named "Best Rock Star Alive" by blender, or one of the Men of the year by GQ.

I knowt hose labels dont mean **** to some fo you, but just showing that none of it is forcefed.

He worked his way through stardom by catching the ear of the mixtape community. And the mixtape community is FAR from the normal teeny pop MTV crowd.

I don't mind people hating ont he kid. Just know your facts. His success came far from being forcefed by the media. He forcefed his way into the ears of the rap community by tireless effort, mixtape after mixtape, FOR FREE. Not for $$. But, a lot of **** is force fed, yes.

This had nothing to do with the best rapper talk. It had to do with Wayne being "forcefed."

I never called him the best rapper of all time. Or the best rapper alive. I've just been giving reasons as to why i Like him and why RIGHT now he is on top of the game. And also why OTHERS are giving him that tittle.

And, now, I had to go back and prove why his success was never force fed. Because thats ludicrous.
