as far as the the best rapper alive talk, we can go back and forth with this one. Weezy right now is on top because he has an album thats fire and everybody wants him on they album. He has grown as a lyricist and hey even on Mr. Carter dont Jay say he handing the crown to weezy? anyways weezy is on top right now until someone comes correct and drop an album thats fire. Maybe Nas can do it if not maybe The Game. we shall see,

who's really dropped so far this year though? i really cant think of anyone besides rick ross and i got that in rotation more than C3(which gets no play except for 5 songs).

as far as the best rapper alive.....how can you call him the best rapper when he has yet to put out a classic cd? Carter 1 was his best cd IMO and i will never be able to say that is a classic.

i'm not hating on wayne either he's always been one of my favorites, but he is not the best there is......maybe if he gets off that syrup and starts writing lyrics down (or at least get a ghost writer again) but thats not happening.

damn im still trying to think of someone big who's dropped a cd so far but i cant. oh well a couple more months and T.I. will be getting slapped for the rest of the year.

Agree with Poke. He is to kids these days what 2pac was to those 25+.

The thing is, he has the respect of alot of the rappers in the game right now also.

Jay Z calls him is "heir" in the Mr. Carter song on tha carter III and also called him the best rapper out a year ago in a BET interview.

Kanye west called him a living legend.

Young Buck, and Lloyd Banks both admitted to bumping Lil Wayne's Music more than any other "non affiliated" G unit member.

The Game himself said he would be priveleged to a "blood brothers" album with Wayne.

He's my favorite out right now. The thing you gotta understand is, like Poke said, he's got the white people buying. he's got the cross over crowd. The white, and the blacks. No racism, just real talk.

And of course, the ever so famous lollipop has girls creaming their pants after the first beat drops...

Rap these days ain't what it was 10 years ago. And I'm sure 90% of the people hating on Wayne are definitely those who come from the 90's generation of Rap....
