RF.net Sportsbook Thread; Predictions, Prognostications etc.
Alright, for all you betting junkies; odds, wagers, parlays etc... Lets Hear 'em here!!!
For fun, we should keep track of our W/L records, talk anything in the wager world here. Every week, we should take a few games and keep track of how we do in the NFL. We'll start with week-2. We can talk baseball, college football, NBA when it starts etc.
My selections this week;
Game Lines/Spreads
Oak. +10 vs. Denver
Colts -7 1/2 vs. Tenn.
Cincy -7 vs. Clev.
O/U
Over 41 1/2, Cincy vs. Clev.
Over 44, St. Louis vs. SF
Over 38, NYG vs. GB
**Home Teams in Italics

I will select 5 a week, I will not select a Raider game, I will pick each Monday nighter
Green Bay -3.5 at NY Giants
Minn +3 at Detroit
KC +6 at Chicago
NO -9 at Tampa
Washington +4 at Philly
I suspect I will do well at this....

You need to diversify bro!
I find that it's not smart to bet the line or straight win on your favorite team. Look into the over under lines.
Don't put so much money on one bet unless you have the money to lose. The odds aren't 50/50... they are always slightly in the house's favor.

Exactly...Dont drop so much coin on one line, especially if you have to drop some bones to get even money back or just over even money.

Nice pics, RINY.
One suggestion though. You should put down if it's a home or away game.
RAIDERS will cover that spread!

I can see the Raiders covering that spread.
Attyla - you're taking KC +6 at Chicago? I don't know man, I can see the Bears laying a full on beatdown on them. The Chiefs are a mess this year and the Bears defense held Tomlinson to 25 yards. Larry Johnson couldn't go anywhere against Houston's D last week and Chicago's D is a lot better. The Chiefs don't have a very good D and if Rex Grossman isn't pressured he can make a lot of big plays.

Yup, and considering that the Bears only allowed 77-yards on the ground to SD, and 260 total, I feel that KC will have many problems moving the ball on Sunday.
Shoot, that line could be Bears -10, and I would take Chicago...LOL. IMO, that KC game is the easiest on the board. Attyla's a gambler man...+6. WOW.
