Dwayne Bowe's Draft Status

For those of you who thought Dwayne Bowe could possibly fall to us , well , wishful thinking....

He is not known among our households , but it appears the NFL is VERY aware of Dwayne Bowe..... too bad , because the clips of Jam Russ connecting to him gets me salivating.... He is a BEAST

http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/p...rospect_ID=383

Bowe did not receive the same kind of hype as the more high-profile receivers in this year's draft class did during their college careers, and he's still not very well known among casual football fans. He's all over NFL scouts' radars, however, especially after his strong showing at the Senior Bowl. Bowe was far and away the best WR during the week in Mobile. He did drop a few balls, (though he was sure-handed for the most part at LSU last season) but other than that, he was lights out at the Senior Bowl. At 6-3, 217 pounds and solidly built, Bowe is a physical nightmare for opposing cornerbacks and he is never one to shy away from contact. He should also be running under 4.5 by the time the NFL Combine rolls around. Bowe is almost a sure bet to be taken in the first round and he could be the fourth wide receiver selected.

i been talking about him for months and his stock been insane.. his size is amazing to go along with his speed and blocking ability.. he is gonna be a good one for a long time.. i dont see him getting past the chiefs, pats, he could even get taken by the Tennessee titans..because he is by far a safer pick.. the ginn.. its gonna be fun to watch him in the nfl.. and like i said in another thread Bowe will be the second best WR in the draft.. and getting that eye surgery real helped him you should of seen him last year couldnt catch sht.

but there is another LSU wr that could fall to the raiders in the 3rd.. Craig Buster Davis.. 6'1 or 6'2 depends on what site you look at.. and he is the fast one.. very good hands..

It would be a sweet deal, if a couple of things happen. First if we drafted JaMarcus Russell, I'll be excited. Second, I really want AL DAVIS to put together a package, including moss, for gb's 1st Round Pick. Heck, put our extra picks in a package and send them to gb. How about our compensation pick-3rd Round, our 5th Round (from ne), and moss to gb for their 1st Round pick. It really wouldnt hurt us, plus we'd use our resources to attract another 1st. Not to shabby in my opinion. Then with the 16th pick select either DeWayne Bowe, or Marshawn Lynch. I'd prefer Lynch at this spot. Then we can go davis, bowe, or even z.miller at the top of the 2nd.

Our WR Corp with Porter, Curry, Bowe/Davis, Morant (role player), Gabriel (role player), that would be a sweet little WR Corp!!!!!!!

I could see the headlines now-the same way people are calling us the USC Raiders, after the Draft the headlines would be "The LSU Raiders set to take the field!!!" It'd be funny, but if we extracted that offensive firepower from LSU that might be enough to help out our Defense turn around the team.

Just some thoughts, I know it's still extremely early. The offseason is barely beginning, so my opinion is still subject to change. These are just some random thoughts about the Draft.

If Lynch is there at #16 Green Bay is going to draft him not trade the pick away.

It'd be great if Oakland could trade moss Before the draft. Then things would work out.

From talking to alot of packer fans they dont want lynch..and A.Green wants to retire a packer..said that numerous times and green didnt have to bad of a season... dont be shocked if they dont pick him...

I do see them trying to trade that pick.. and stock pile with picks like they did last year..

..maybe the compensatory 3rd Round pick, and the 5th round pick from ne (the one D.Gabriel got us) would help us get their 1st. Might be worth a shot, even if we did trade those we'd still have a normal draft. Those are extra picks we could use to help garner another 1st Round pick. That would be pretty sweet. I'm not sure it's worth it, but maybe. I have to hear other people's opinions. I think it would be a good idea, but I'm not sure if there is something I could be overlooking.

I dont think you can trade a com pick but i could be wrong.. but the only way i see them tradeing that pick is if the 33rd overall pick is package with moss.. and proably a fourth round pick.

Ahman Green may retire a Packer, but they need a successor at RB. Ahman will be on the wrong side of 30. his best years are behind him. even if they decide to resign Green, you can all but assure that he will be splitting carries with another player like the way Dillon did with Maroney in NE. you can all but guarantee that if Lynch is there at 16, he'll be in yellow and green.

all this talk about trading moss for their 1st is getting tiresome. would it be nice? hell yes. but the Packer front office isn't run by a bunch of monkeys. they know as well as any other organization in the league that Moss isn't worth anything over a third round pick. right now his value is at an all time low. TO for all his talent in the world was traded to the Eagles for a throwaway player and a third round pick....and that's when there were two teams vying for his services.

when you look at it ..its a fair trade for both sides..

the 17 pick is worth 950 points.. the 33rd overall pick is worth 580.. difference between 370 points.. 4th round pick is worth 112 points, adding everything up the differnce is 258 points..add moss and everything is good.. you can even take away the 4th round pick and it will be even..
