this is what i think will happen with our first pick, its also a poll just to see how many Raider fans are satisfied with the choice

1st over all pick the Oakland Raiders select

Adrian Peterson Running back Oklahoma

with the recent Draft contreversy involving the Quarterback discussion, Brady Quinn and JaMarcus Russell will be very tempting to Coach Kiffin and Al, but with The AFC west being known for its dominant running games and all pro runners, Oakland Seems to be the odd man out. Lamont Jordan doesnt appear to be the answer with frustrating injuries and underachieving years, Oakland wil lbe looking to change the production level from Sub-par to elite. Adrian Peterson is an elite prospect with great size, speed and strength and before his injury was a front runner for the Heismen trophy. Al seems to like Walter and may be willing to give the "kid" a second chance to become a man, with a franchise runningback and great running game, a improved Offensive line and Moss and Porter on the same page its could work. A long shot? you bet ya but its the only shot the Raiders have to give this offense an instant offense. Adrian Peterson's injuries are unlucky, many say this is his biggest flaw but with the talent level he has its worth the risk.

I've been lobbying for Peterson before he even declared. It's in our best interest to trade down and aquire Peterson.
