Making the Most of our Draft Picks

unlike a lot of fellow Raider fans, i don't believe our answers lie in any one player in the draft. Quinn and Russell may turn out to be good QBs, but we should use our #1 overall pick to our advantage to accumulate more picks, whether they be in this draft or in future drafts.

as much as i love the Raiders, i don't have alot of faith in the front office when it comes time to make picks in the draft. we have a crummy track record drafting in the first round for the past 10 years. and for us to have had multiple picks in the first round in a couple of those years, we don't have much to show for it. Napolean Harris? gone. Philip Buchanon? gone. Derrick Gibson....over Reggie Wayne? Matt Stinchcomb? Dudley? Russell? Gallery is close to being a bust. For every third round stud in Morrison we've drafted, we've got a closet full of duds.

i hope we turn it around...maybe the new coaching staff and Kiffin's familiarity with some of the prospects will help.

I actually think the past two drafts have been pretty good.
