Gaines Adams/Marshawn Lynch

Hearing a little bit of the press conferance earlier Kiffin said he wanted to make the offense and defense better so why not land two starters on both sides of the ball. What we could do is trade down with the Vikes so they can take Russell or Johnson and we could get extra picks and get Adams with the pick. He would make our pass rush sick with Burgess sitting on the other side and could make our defense elite. What we could have to do is trade Moss/2nd or 3rd round pick to move back into the 1st round so we can take Lynch. We would finally have a running game and a back who can do it all. With the draft picks I think we should package players like Sims, Brayton or Williams with some picks to get an extra 2nd rounder. With those picks I would take Okoye & Meriweather so we can make our defense elite for years to come. Hopefully with a 3rd round pick we could land Kali or Young to play C don't know if it will happen but we'll see. In free-agency try to land Davis(RT) & Graham(TE) and that should make us okay for now. This is how my lineup would look like

QB - Walter
RB - Lynch
FB - Crocket
WR - Porter, Curry, Gabriel, Morant
TE - Graham, Anderson
LT - Gallery
LG - Mcquistan
C - Kali/Young
RG - Boothe
RT - Davis

DE - Burgess
DT - Okoye/Sands
DT - Sapp/Kelly
DE - Adams
OLB - Howard
MLB - Morrison
OLB - Thomas
CB - Washington
FS - Huff
SS - Meriweather
CB - Asomugha

That looks like a mean defense with an average to above average offense I would roll with it what do you think?

Gaines would be great to have, so would Lynch. The thing is it's all speculation because we don't know what other teams want/are willing to give up. I can come up with a million trade scenarios, but it all comes down to who's willing to deal. Chances are, nobody wants the players we don't want anymore than we do. I'm sure there are exceptions, but in most cases the players you have are more valuable to your team than they are to another team. That's why you don't see many trades in the NFL.

I think Kiffin could get more from Brayton, he was at Col. State for a while...

That said I'd welcome Adams, Anderson, or Okoye as a first round lineman.

Anderson is an every down talent able to hold a run gap and still pass rush effectively.

Adams has all world upside.

Okoye has it all and is only 19, a ton of mileage is in those pass rush legs. He'd reach new elvels under Sapp's direction.

1st round: Calvin Johnson or Brady Quinn
2nd round: Michael Bush
3rd round: Steve Smith

And I'd be a happy man!!

Nice draft r8erray. That is something I could definitely get behind.

Vegas - Bush has a broken leg that is very serious, and he's still not even walking straight yet, so the guy can't even run. We won't see him at the combine, so it would be very foolish to draft him. I also read a report from a doctor saying this type of injury will affect his running ability permanently. I doubt anyone drafts him, and if they do, it will be a 2nd day pick.

Ive got a feeling we will end up trading up with our 2nd rounder and have two first rounders! AP or Lynch and Zack miller or justin blaylock.
