Kiffin as HC = Jarrett in Silver n Black?

.......... I think Russell will be the first pick , and I really think he will swing some sort of deal to land Jarrett..

Just speculation , but we need a Stuc RB and I know he realizes that as well....

But I was thinking , we might be giving up on LJ too soon .......

LJ still managed to put up fairly productive numbers (when healthy) despite a piss poor offensive scheme

I think the Raiders need to draft Adrain Peterson and then swing a deal and land Dwaynne Jarrett after make some sort of trade or something?

needs:
1)qb: walter imo is a long shot, get as much talent here as possible to compete
2)rb: fargas should start, and who knows w/ LJ, but i wouldnt mind AD or lynch
3)c: grove flat out sux but above is more important
4)dt: sands isnt consistent, sapp is aging, who knows if kelly and sands return, but are defense is good overall
we cant fix everything in one year. but we need a qb or rb to build around on offense, not wr's.
round 1:qb(russell)
2:dt(pit****?)
3:c(young)
dont expect us to get many fa's.

I like it, but didn't Grove do okay in '05? I live in NYC and didn't see alot of games that year.

Actually, if I recall correctly Kiffin often clashed with Jarrett, especially over his work ethic.

I've heard that as well.

If true, that puts an end to this scenario.

I'd rather dump Moss and get Mike Williams from Detroit (if Kiffin and Williams get along)

Why? Art Shell did nothing when Moss slacked off and, as a result, the slacking off continued. Maybe a kick in the backside is what Randy needs.

we should swap with Detroit. Kiffin was the receivers coach when Mike was at SC. Mike needs a change in scenery and he'd have a familiarity with the offense Kiffin will most likely implement in Oakland, which is his version of Norm Chow's offense.

Jarrett, unless he just bombs at the combine, will be in the top 10, most likely targeted by the Vikes.
