Okay, maybe we don't need to replace Stu and I've always agreed we need all the help we can get on Offense, but i would like homeboy to get more INTs next year.

how many does he have this year, nada? Turnovers can change a ballgame.

I wasn't asking for anything dramatic when i made this thread, just participating in the chaos around here.

thanks for your replies, mateys.

I could see us taking Rouse if he's still on the board in the 3rd. We currently got the guy on staff (Ward) who converted him from linebacker to safety.

I could see that happening
also I think Ward will probably get a promotion from Asst. DB coach to the full time DB coach.

as for Rouse.. he seems too much like Bing to me...

We ain't gettin him tho.

If you want a replacement for Stu, which I personally want, then Brandon Meriweather is the guy. He's gonna come at a huuuuge bargain in the 3rd round. He's got 1st round talent but because of the brawl he'll be passed up by many teams. I think we can take a chance on him since we've got solid leaders on defense and a strong coaching staff on that side of the ball. He'll be a badass but still stay in line. I really hope we get this kid.

Meriweather would be a bargain in the 3rd but I doubt he'll be there. I like Nelson better but in reality I doubt we draft a S since we have deeper needs.

Yeah I agree. At best Meriweather will be in the second, I really wish we could get him though cuz that'd add another playmaker to our already great secondary.

you know what, if we went with the 46 defense then we could play Huff at FS, then we could take Bing in box where he would be an impact player and then we wouldn't need to draft another S in this draft.

Yeah your right, but I dunno if our defense has the personnel for a 46. I'd prefer we keep the 4-3, me personally I just really wanna see a new age soul patrol with Aso, Fab, Huff, and Meriweather. Nothin but playmakers.
