THE FACTS About Brady Quinn

I knew it was going to come to this if Brady Quinn did in fact have a bad game last night and I was right.. You guys on this board make it seem like a guy who has thrown for 69 touchdowns to 14 Int's over the last two years is a piece of trash. BTW, over 900 attempts with only 14 Int's....find someone else in college football who has come CLOSE to that mark. Brady Quinn has been under a microscope his WHOLE career. And in case you haven't noticed, not many of his teammates, offensively or defensively have gone on to make any type of noise in the NFL. That should tell you something about the talent he has been surrounded by during his time at Notre Dame and why some of you say he can't win the "big game"....My ass HE can't win the big game.

Hey how about we go back to last year when the Fighting Irish played USC. In case you missed it, Brady Quinn basically single handedly took over the game and put his team in a position to beat the unbeatable men of Troy (who happen to be my favorite CFB program). And in case you missed it, his DEFENSE lost the game allowing Leinart and Co. to stroll down the field for a last second touchdown. Now, Brady's fault? I think NOT. How about this year against USC? Hmmm well lets see 22-45 274 Yds. with 3 TD's no picks, AND 74 yards rushing. Yea Brady could've done more there to help his team win that "big game". The only bad game he had this entire year excluding last night was against Michigan where he didn't have more than 2 seconds to make a decision because of how bad his line was. And last nights game, he didn't play up to his usual level but regardless of his play, his receivers can't catch a damn ball! Name one other receiving weapon besides big Jeff that Brady has to throw to. He hits a guy in the chest and it bounces right off for a pick....yea Brady's fault.

Now lets go back to last year's "big games".....against Michigan, he was 19-30 with 2 TD's NO Int's. What a choke .....against Tennessee he was 20-33 with 295 yds. and 3 TD's. .....and against Ohio State, he was 29-45 286 Yds......and NO PICKS.

So lets hear it experts.......the guy has no supporting cast, no oline, and 1-2 weapons yet manages to throw for 9931 yds, 86 TD's, 24 ints, 60.3% completion percentage, and a passer rating of 144.......hmmmm

I am not opposed to taking a guy like JaMarcus Russell, but don't come on here saying I told you so over one game in which one outplayed the other. It just shows your immaturity and takes away all credibility in the eyes of people who know wtf is going on. Charlie Weis said Brady in three years would be the third best QB in the NFL. That's strong. He is mature, smart, and a natural born leader. Take a look at the stats before you run your mouth. We should be the last ones talking crap about guys like Quinn when we take a look at what WE have had the past years. Like it or not, Quinn is one of the best prospects to come out in a long time, and anyone who doesn't see him as a fit in the S&B....well you just don't watch football.

Now lets take a look at the career statistics.....actually I'll let you non believers do that. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player...layerId=150329

ENJOY!

So Peterson or Calvin Johnson should not even be at least considered? Is Quinn that much better than everybody else in the draft?

Sorry dude, the site is stacked with QB threads, mostly regarding Brady Quinn.

My response is simple. If we coach in the senior bowl and we like what we see as well as him interviewing well, then yes I'm okay if we take him.

We have no way of knowing who will be a good pro.
I just re-read some draft stuff and Gallery was THE top rated player that year, above the overall #1. Numerous teams wanted him and tried to trade with us.

Yet now. Most of the posters on here are ready to throw him out with the garbage.

Its AJ Hawk and his sister.
By all accounts she's a babe (can anyone find a picture?)
And they are married, or getting married.
