Pro Day In Tempe
update on pro day in tempe, arizona:
-Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports North Texas RB Patrick Cobbs measured a height of 5-8 and a weight of 206 pounds at his Pro Day. Weather conditions were less than ideal, with wind gusts ranging between 20 mph and 25 mph. He ran the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.71 seconds with the wind and a time of 4.94 seconds against the wind. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.24 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.10 seconds.
-Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Tulsa TE Garrett Mills stood on everything he did at the NFL Combine and only performed position drills at his Pro Day.
-Tulsa WR Aslan Davis measured a height of 5-7 3/4 and a weight of 178 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran his 40-yard dash twice with the time of 4.47 seconds.
-CLEMSON QB Charlie Whitehurst (arm) ran the 40-yard dash with times of 4.74 seconds and 4.76 seconds at his Pro Day. He measured a height of 6-4 3/8 and a weight of 227 pounds. He looked good at his position drills, despite his arm being only 80 percent to 85 percent due to a throwing injury. He will throw again later this month when he is fully recovered.
-Arizona State LB Jamar Williams ran the 40-yard dash with times of 4.58 seconds and 4.59 seconds at his Pro Day
-Arizona State WR Derek Hagan stood on almost everything he did at the NFL Combine. He did perform the position drills in Tempe
-Kentucky RB Arliss Beach ran the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.45 seconds during his Pro Day.
-Kentucky S Muhammad Abdullah ran the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.6 seconds.
