Anthony Fasano

If we can some how land this guy , he would be awsome to have on our team. He is the best TE prospect I have seen in a long time. He can catch , block , he is athletic and very intelligent. Think Jeremy Shockey without the arrogant attitude and potential to be the top blocking tight end in football. A complete package. I know we wouldn't get him with our first , but we should maybe package our second to get ib the 1st round again to get this guy because I don't think he will make it to the 2nd round.

I would take a few TEs ahead of him ( i.e Pope, Davis, Marcedes ). I think he's a solid prospect but I wouldn't put him in Shockey's category.

I'm fine with Court, simply because he's still maturing and we've got bigger concerns.

Knowing Al though, he may not be able to resist drafting another TE.

With Marcedes Lewis, Vernon Davis, Leonard Pope in this draft, Anthony Fasano will defintely fall to the mid-second or later possibly. With the top three so talented, it is even possible that one of them even fall to the early second. Once again JMO.

Fasano is a good player but there is a logjam in front of him at TE. He's probably late 2nd, maybe 3rd. Fasano is no earlier than the 4th TE chosen, whenever that is. I'd rather see the Raiders address other needs........ at least with early picks.

Id be all for drafting Fasano.

I've seen him play for quite a while now, and hes probably a better pro style TE than Lewis. The only TE's I'd put ahead of him would be Pope and Davis. And neither can block as good as he can.

I'm fine with CA as well but I'd like to see more production from the TE position. We have to find way, especially in the red zone to use our TEs better. I know this year they were mainly used as blockers but possibly under a different offense, we can get these guys working and stretching the middle of the field.

That's partly because these days , everyone is looking for the next Crumpler or Gates instead of a 5 tool TE that can do the catching as well as give you good blocking.

Exactly, and I appreciate 5 tool TE's just as much as the Gates's, or the Gonzalez's. People like Jason Whitten, Eric Johnson, and the Jeremy Steven's.

Plus, Fasano somehow is always open on 3rd downs, can always find those little holes in the defense, and blocks as well as a tackle.
