Position of need most are ignoring
Halfback.
Lamont Jordan is a punishing type of back to move the chains, but we don't have the speed at that position to keep defenses honest. He carried the ball 272 times and his longest run was 26 yards. 26 yards! Of all the backs we've had, I believe Lamont is most similar to Mark Van Eeghen. Van Eeghen was a fullback. Eeghen's thunder was complemented by the lighting of Clarence Davis and Charlie Smith. Could Jordan be moved to fullback, so we would have a one-two punch? Could we add a back in the second round that could complement Jordan and make our offense more effective? |

stop dancing not just run blocking, watch the cleveland game he hit the hole instead of dancing around, we do need a change of pace back, while a lot of people bitched lamont did not get the ball enough he carried the ball 270 times and caught 70 passes 340 touches in 14 games is a lot
