Grade Our 2003 Draft
Seeing that its been two and a half seasons since we drafted these players, I was wondering what your guy's opinions are and the grade you would honestly give us.
1a Nnamdi Asomugha 1b Tyler Brayton 2 Teyo Johnson 3a Sam Williams 3b Justin Fargas 4 Shurron Pierson 5 Doug Gabriel 6 Dustin Rykert 7 Siddeeq Shabazz 7 Ryan Hoag

Fargas D+ Fargas is solid in special teams but has not done a lick in the running game. Huge disappointment as well. Pierson D Nothing really significant here, but he was traded to Chicago for a draft pick before last season. Gabriel A Still surprised he lasted to the fifth. He was not a complete unknown in college even though he went to a small school, UCF. Has been solid and is a great #3 receiver now and for the future. Rykert D Nothing much expected out of 6th round picks. We took a chance because the man stated he was going on a Morman mission or could not play on Sundays (forget which one) before the draft. Well, he kept to his word. Shabazz D+ Seventh round pick stayed on our practice squad for a little while and ended up on someone else's. Hoag A What can you expect out of the last player selected, Mr. Irrelevant. He gets an "A" for being just that, irrelevant. Overall: C- Only real contributors are Nnamdi and Gabriel. Brayton remains on the team but has been misused. Fargas has been pretty much non-existent.
