Lets get a SS

any college fans want to name a lot of SS's that we could get in the draft, or maybe a SS you know of that is a free agent next year just keep naming them and see who we should get, I think the need for an LB has been reduced because, Gibson is a LB and he kept up in tackles at LB along side Clark and Morrison we should keep him there as the smallest LB in the league because his weight doesnt seem to effect his play, and his coverage at LB should be good. Plus we still have Sam Williams for who knows how long, so I think this makes our needs simple
1. SS - an impact player at SS can make up for lack of a single LB
2. DE - still need depth there, particullary another edge rusher, Hamilton isnt getting any younger and Kelly could be moved back inside to utilize his pass rushing skills.
3. LB - still need depth there but I think were set at LB with Clark and Morrison, and a mix between Sam and Gibson.

This is a good year for all of those positions, good depth. I think getting a safety in the second would be sufficient, someone like Daniel Bullocks or Greg Blue. Im still in favor or Ahmad Brooks in the first(he had a cyst, gotta give him break). Especially since he has the most ability in the draft on defense. And in the third I'd like to see us getting a DE(outside of Kiwanuka and Williams, theres not much talent).

I actually dont like this year
the best potential is Bing but the guy has numerous injury problems and reminds me so much of gibson that I dont wanna take the chance, i've read reports that he needs to step his game up.
My favorite in this draft is Michael Huff and I would take him in the first round.

I think the Raiders need will fill their needs with the free agency period and the draft.

I kinda hope the Raiders draft Mario Williams, Mark Setterstrom, Dale Robinson... and if we could get a playmaker strong safety in the mix also.. Our Draft would be Great!!

I hope that Adrian Wilson is a free agent, I dunno if he was re-signed this year if not hes most likely a free agent entering his 6th season, if we sign him then we'd own on defense thats someone we REALLY need and one of few SS's i'd go with, I dont want just anybody at SS I say if were gonna get a new starter lets do it legit and get an all-star.

Wilson is locked up with the cards for 5 more years, the Eagles are talking a long term deal with Michael Lewis I dunno if he got it but if he doesnt... we better grab him he is amazing.

........

darnell bing is an absolute freak... step his game up? this guy is an above average player without stepping his game up. He's been roughed up but recovered perfectly and the guy is a specimen. If there's on SS in the draft this is the guy I want. He gets a retired number and is compared to rodney harrison - and everytime I watch USC there he is making a play or laying the lumber.
