    Ansah is the answer

I see a lot of people wanting Warmack to solidify the O-line, but would you rather have Ben Grubbs or Von Miller/JPP? The latter would help our team much more.

My guy @ #3 is Ansuh. He's moving up draft board QUICK(top 10 lock imo), I hope we choose him for the following reasons:

    Elite athletic ability and measurables

Dominated the best players in the country in the Senior bowl. Was straight up ridiculous in this game!

Reportedly good work ethic(important to new RM regime)

Has only played football for 2 years, his ceiling is extremely high.

and well.... just watch his damn highlight tape

This is the first I've seen of him and this is a highlight video but he looks noticeably better than Bjoern Werner.

I would be happy with him at 7 or lower but not at the 3 spot, unless he goes crazy in the combine. But think he willbe a very soild Pro

    Ansah is the answer

We have to trade back a few spots to pick up a second rounder and poss. Trade down again if given the opportunity. We need picks! Lots of free agents and another year of cap hell

    If we could trade down

Love the speed and the motor. Hopefully we can trade back a few picks, get another pick and still get him. Guys like this make the entire defense better when they have to scheme for him.

Very good highlight reel lots of nice plays, not the same ones over & over. I'd take him over Werner for sure possibly Moore, he would be a great pick if we trade down.

He's going to kill the combine. He's a former trackstar and supposedly going to blow up the 40. I'd like him lower as well but I don't think he's leaving the top 10, not to mention having to find a trading partner

I have to admit, I hadn't really looked into Ansah until this film and I was very impressed. I am still on the Warmack bandwagon, but I will definitely be watching more of these tapes to see if I change my mind. But definitely agree with the sentiment we would have to trade back to get him, he's too rough to justify the 3 pick.

Key phrase is if we trade down. I would not like this pick at number 3, no chance over Werner or Moore. They are much more proven and there's a reason most "experts" have them as top 5 picks come April. Sure JPP panned out, but how many other freak athletes in the NFL haven't? Vernon Gholston anyone?

I remember seeing Gholston highlights, Ansah looks way better but I see your point. I'm hoping the cards or bills trade up that's a perfect spot for Ansah plus we get a pick or two back. If not im hoping for Star or Moore at #3. I'd rather have Ansah over Werner though, just my opinion I was more impressed with his highlights. This is going off highlights though im not no scout or nothing.

Reggie's human and will feel pressure this year as a new GM with his first ever 1st round pick, #3 overall. Will he take a guy who's only played football for 2 years? I doubt it.
And that pressure is another reason RM will want to trade the pick for more picks.

Why not? He picked Allen to be a HC and he had only 1 year of being a DC under his belt.

I have followed Ansah's play since he first played at BYU. At the beginning of his first year he had almost no understanding of the game. They would put him in only in obvious passing situations and he would just rush the passer. As you can see by the highlight video, he now has a firm grasp of playing d line. His best two qualities IMO are acceleration and ability to move laterally and make plays. He has a good motor and I don't recall seeing him "take plays off" as some big guys are wont to do. I would love to see the Raiders move down and pick him in the middle of the first round.
