This guy may turn to be a decent pick. Wright also list top reaches, with Joe Flacco the first one (in order drafted). No Raiders made his top reach list, so that's a good thing.

Sweet!! I'm turning around pretty strong from my initial reaction to this pick.

Devin Thomas is overrated.
Good to see Branch make the list. Hopefully it shows on the field.
Damn I wanted Frank Okam... oh well.

Even if he is a good value, did we REALLY need any more DBs? And I read a couple other places that this dude struggles with tackling. Why is he even on our draft board in that case? We have several potential filled DBs that run fast and cannot tackle, why bother using draft picks on more of them?

Great find bro, I saw that today. I also think this guy has the potential to be the real deal. He's very smart and very good against the run, which is exactly what we need. Hopefully he'll see some time at safety so we can see what he's got.

CB? No, but there is an argument for a S, and that is where he projects. Most sane people think they need help on the DL, but the people at Raiders HQ feel good with what they have. If the cut Willy-Joe and signed Grady I would be ok with out DL next. A 4th rounder isn't going to come in an do much better than Sands/Jackson, not right away anyway.

Yeah, he's an athlete AND a football player, for once!

Oh yes, we do. Aso will be gone after the year unless we look like a playoff contender. I hate it, but that's the way it goes. Hence the deal with Hall. And even with Hall and Routt here, we damn sure need more corners. So if somebody is available at that point and you like him, you better take him.

I think Aso might be gone too, that's the only scenario where this pick would make sense. Other wise he's just a 4th (or 5th) CB, a 4th safety, or a special teamer.
