Undrafted FAs

Raiders:
OLB Malik Jackson, Louisville

C Adam Spieker, Missouri

CB Derrick Brown, Southern Utah

TE Chris Wagner, South Dakota State

RB Louis Rankin, Washington

ILB Shane Simmons, Western Washington

Some notable FAs:
LB Erin Henderson Maryland/(Minnesota)
SS Jamar Adams Michigan/(Seattle)
WR Davon Bess Hawaii/(Miami)
WR Dorien Bryant Purdue/(Pittsburg)
LB J Leman Illinois/(Minnesota)
FS Marcus Griffin Texas/(Minnesota)
WR Darius Reynaud WVU/(Minnesota)
LB Kelly Poppinga BYU/(Miami)
WR Ryan Grice-Mullin Hawaii/(Houston)
RB/WR Anthony Aldrige Houston/(Denver)
FS Simeon Castille Alabama/(Cincinnatti)
OT Hercules Satele Hawaii/(Arizona)
OL Adam Kraus Michigan/(Baltimore)
OG Justin Britt Alabama/(Cincinnatti)
RB Tony Temple Missouri/(Cleveland)
LB Ben Moffit USF/(Houston)
QB Kyle Wright Miami/(Minnesota)
OT Drew Radovich USC/(Minnesota)

it would've been nice to see the Raiders be as aggressive as signing undrafted FAs the way Minnesota was. they landed quite a few guys that i thought would have been drafted, namely Leman, Henderson and Griffin.

Ali Highsmith is still out there, and despite his poor Pro Day and combine, the guy is simply a playmaker and he showed it consistently against top SEC offenses. wouldn't mind seeing him add depth to our LBs.

there are more people to sign, we'll see, they were very active in FA, both big moves and small, evidently they feel much better about our trenches then the average rf.net member, hope they're right.

I would have liked us to get Davone Bess. Supposedly he was very good at the Dolphins rookie camp and didn't drop many passes. I would have rathered him than Schilens.

We should have drafted Bess instead of Schillens.

What do you think about Riky Santos? I think in few games he will be the QB in KC, taking the place of Croyle.
About Davone Bess I thought he could be drafted , a lot of people was speaking about him before the draft as a good player.

as long as Al is at the controls, a guy like Bess will never be drafted by the Raiders. look at every single guy drafted this year by the Raiders. they're big, tall and fast. unless Bess ran a sub 4.4 40 at the combine, Al would never look in his direction, even if he had great hands and ran good routes.

Chaz really shouldn't have been drafted based on his college career and his production on the field. but his height and blazing 4.3 speed caught Al's attention.
