Sedrick Ellis. I've said months ago that USC players are overrated becasue they are. PFT wrote something that I said months ago and it's true. Most if not all USC players have been recruited by Pete Carroll and have played more then a season under him have been busts. The list is long my friends and I don't want another one. Stick with SEC players and you can't go wrong. Dorsey or McFadden in the first. If we trade down Derrrick Harvey or Chris Williams. SEC is the best conference becasue we have the best players in college and the NFL.

I think the reason that the USC players get a ton of hype is because idiots like Mark May are in love with them, no matter how good they are. They do have some good players, but I agree that Dorsey or McFadden needs to be the pick (assuming Chris Long is gone).

Let's not start with the SEC crap again. The Trojans supply a lot of busts to the NFL, and so does the SEC. Tell me how many of the Florida players from the Spurrier era are still around. Not a lot. They were drafted in large numbers because they won a lot in college games. It doesn't mean that they'd be great or even good NFL players. USC is no different. They have great college talent, that may or may not translate to the pros.
SEC fans are obnoxious and known for always running their mouths about how great the SEC is. Everybody says that Glenn Dorsey and Darren McFadden will be great players. Gee they said that about Robert Gallery a few years ago. He was a "sure thing", but how do you like him now? These two could do the same thing.
I suppose that just like most SEC fans, you'll just go on and on about how nobody knows what they're talking about, because the SEC is the "greatest". Give me a break. The NFL gets great players from EVERYWHERE in college ball, and no, the SEC doesn't always supply the best.

What conference won the most BCS championships? What team won the most BCS championship? And the best record in BCS games? Truth hurts Pac-10 liberal

Gee wiz you 10? Rah Rah Rah "I love Conference!", "I love Conference!". I don't don nor ever had a T-Shirt with a Conference only on it. I follow teams thank you. FWIW I hope we get Dorsey but SEC or Pac 10 cheerleading has nothing to do with it. I would also do what is needed after Dorsey to get Jason Taylor in here. I think that combo could actually make this a contending team immediately. A DL of Taylor - Dorsey - Kelly - Burgess with our back 7 has to make us on paper the best D in the entire league with a growing offense.

And now ladies and gentlemen, you're typical Southern SEC fan. Always got to get the "liberal" label on a PAC-10 fan. Boy, hit that one on the head... We're all liberals.
I like how you quote BCS facts. Great. The SEC does not have the greatest record overall for bowl wins and national championships (before BCS) if I recall correctly. In fact, I think that all of the big conferences are fairly even in that.

Question: What does winning BCS Championships have to do with NFL success?

Answer: I don't know, but maybe Chris Leak and Tee Martin can tell you.

Although I agree that USC players tend to get overrated, there's simply no evidence to your claim that SEC players are better than players from other conferences..
Here's the breakdown of the 2008 Pro Bowl players by conference:

ACC - 19 players
SEC - 16
Big 10 - 12
PAC 10 - 12
Big 12 - 12
MAC - 6
Mountain West - 5
Big East - 3
Other (WAC, C-USA, Sun Belt, etc.) - 17
