Roy Williams trade

OK...I'll bite. Here is a hypothetical scenario that might make everyone happy. Dallas gets our #3 or #4 pick (if McFadden is there) and we get Roy Williams and the two late #1 picks. We may or may not get both 1's, it would depend on the trade value chart. Williams to SS and Huff to FS. Depending on how frisky Al is (and we do get both 1's) we could even package players/picks to move back up to the middle of the first and still have our late first pick. We can adress DT, WR, and SS all in one swoop. I'm crazy, I know. We can dream...can't we?

I'd have to pass on this one. I just feel that Roy Williams is one of the most overrated players in the NFL. I do agree with trading down, however, but that is not an easy thing to do by any means.

Well one crazy notion I had would be: Prepare yourself its a little Maddenesque lol

But if we can pull off this it will depend on us getting the #3:
Trade Darren McFadden to Dallas for both #1's their 2nd, 2nd 09' and if we get the #3 then we could demand either Roy Williams or Bobby Carpenter to even it out.

22 (780) + 29(640) + 61(292) + 09 2nd - same as current 3rd (128) = 1837. #3 = 2200 or #4 = 1800.

We can then trade the lower of the 2 #1's and Fabian Washington to Detroit for Roy Willaims WR.

29 (680) + Fabian Washington (Mid Second: roughly 400 pts) = Roy Williams Wr (Last year in Contract Mid 1st round grade = 1000 pts)

lol I said it was Maddenesque

I think I'd give LaMont Jordan or someone equally worhtless for the fat Roy Williams.

The WR Roy Williams is worth thinking about.

SS Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys is the most overrated piece of garbage ever. He can lay down a hit 2 or 3 times a game and that is it. He is the worst Safety in coverage I have seen in a very long time. Add to that his tendency to do stupid things and aquire penalties and he's far from what I would want. I'd much rather grab an O-lineman or a lower round pick instead.

I'd pass on Williams. I think he is overrated. Yes, he will bring a physical presence inside the box and would help against the run but he offers nothing against the pass.

I'm not sure I understand the points thing, but I would prefer something like this:

Trade our #3 / #4 pick for their #22, their third round pick and Barber (plus any other picks that might balance the trade out). Long shot I know, but Barber with our ZBS would be amazing plus we solve the absence of a third round pick.

Why would we want another STU. He takes as many bad angles as our current FS. Was highly over hyped coming out of OU. The guy you should look for is Ken Hamlin! That dude can freaking play.

It's not exactly hard to truck Stu. Just run right at him and watch him hesitate and attempt a weak arm tackle. In the case you are talking about, he ran Stu over. But Stu did bring him down or it was a TD. The game you are talking about was Tiki Barber's monster game in December against us.

this is what i would do if i could, trade down with dallas.... get its 2 number 1 picks and roy williams, then trade 1 number one pick to detriot for its williams WR. we would still have a #1 in a deep draft, w
