Darius McFadden
Ok so I know he's a great playmaker and how fast he is but how good of an overall runningback is he? I know he's got the numbers and all the fans but can he get the tough yards? I saw alot of videos on youtube with him running straight through his O-Lines holes or right around the tackle. But my question is can he do those kind of runs with our offensive line? I know we've gotten better in that category but next year everyone will key off on our run game especially if we have the same O-line. Will we be able to open holes that McFadden is used to?

Well can someone put up some videos of McFadden breaking some tackles or something because everything I've seen so far is him running past people and around them. I'm not trying to knock this guy, he looks like a great prospect but I just want to know more about him if he's a possible draft choice.

Um dude it's Darren Mcfadden lol.....

He played on a bad team where he was the focal point of the offense in the toughest conference in college football. He is right up there with BO Jackson and Hershel Walker for most rushing yards in SEC history. And he is a junior.

He has a NASTY stiff arm....

He can get the tough yards. He can run in between the tackles as well as hit the outside. He can catch very well and even throw for TD's. He is what we call on raiderfans.net a BEAST! lol....

Some of those runs in his highlight video's were up the middle he just outran everyone lol and his O-line wasn't exactly good.......

Wouldn't be surprised if he ran a 4.2....

but I do agree completely. I dont see any elusiveness or agility, just straight line runs and a stiff arm...Then again, i am only watching highlights so...someone please tell me im wrong..someone who is not an ark fan lol

Well I want to know if we've got a 4th and 2 can he pound it up the middle for the 1st down. Situations like these where you need more than just speed. And just because he's got tons of numbers doesn't really mean much in the nfl. Andrew Walter broke all those records and look wherehe is now.. unfortunately.

Yeah I get where your coming from. Nobody in college football is guaranteed to be successful in the NFL but Mcfadden as a prospect is very good. He can pound it on 4th and 2 that won't be a problem. He is about 220+ so it's not like he is tiny. He doesn't play small either like someone on our roster last name Jordan......

It's actually not far fetched for us to actually draft him

We need a SS. If Mcfadden and Long are both gone then he could possibly be the pick.....He didn't have a great season though but with a good combine and being in such a weak safety draft he will be highly rated.

Haha yea I wouldn't want to name any names either... Lawack jordon. But thats nice to know that McFadden has some weight on him. I'd just like to see some clips of him truckin some dudes or some hard hitting. But as long as he performs well and gets us some points I'll be fine if we draft him.
