Will the draft suspense be killed by Friday night?

Didn't the news break last year on Friday night of the riduiculous decision that the Texans had agreed to choose Mario over Reggie Bush?

Do you think we will know the Raider's selection (with 99.9% assurance) by Friday night?

I sincerely hope that we choose to draft BRADY QUINN, but the truth is only one man will make that decision. Let's hope that whatever the decision, it will heavily contribute to building a winning organization once again.

I don't think the pick will be known. They may have deals in place for all the top prospects or know what they need but I think there is still many variables trades etc...

True. Firstly, we are talking about the Raider organization= tight lipped about everything

I would not be surprised at all if we pick Calvin Johnson and then a few picks later trade him for Russell or Quinn and of course other compensation.

I highly doubt we will know until the commish announces it, I hope there is some suspense like there is right now(Russell and CJ). Should be a fun expierence watching this draft. Hopefully its a once in a lifetime expierence(raiders picking #1)

Lets just remember one important thing. The Texans wanted Bush. However, Bush didn't agree to any of the contracts he was offered. He also mentioned that if he did not get what he wanted, he was more than willing to sit out the entire season and re-enter the draft the following year. The Texans didn't want to risk taking a player with the first overall pick only to have him sit out the year and then re-enter the draft.

I doubt we see that this year. Too many teams trying to decide what we are going to do.
