^1, you gotta cycle supplements that work because your body gets used to it. But the best way to lose weight is how you eat.
How are you eating? How often? How is your portions? My wife started the same time as i did. I only saw her lift weights maybe 3 times the entire 8 weeks. She's lost 30 pounds in 8 weeks, all her clothes are baggy on her, and its how she eats and the portion size. You gotta do some sort of exercise too. what kind of job do you have? Are you active or is it desk work? You pretty much gotta burn more calories than you consume to lose weight. Water weights a big factor too; my wife just started using a diuretic that works extracellular; removing water between the skin and muscle and she's lost an inch off her waistline since she started. <---personally i think thats from eating and when she does cardio with me. What supplement were you taking? I can see progress from all your new pics that you post up. BTW, thanks for the comment.

Don't stick with the same supplement after a 6 week period. In other words, as Jvilla said, you have to cycle them. Further, you need to find out what is helping with the process. Supplements should not be seen as the key to losing weight, but rather a added bonus. Diet and getting an adequate amount of protein, carbs and fats is essential. I also believe that the key is to shock your body from time to time... change up what you are eating on a given week. I believe this can help get you over the current plateau you are at, or at least help with the process. You can become creative with food.
I'm currently on a routine that calls for 1700-1800 cals rather than the high 2000-2200 calls I would consuming during most of July.

Plan what you are going to eat. Keep track of the calories in each meal. You can do this by going to calorieking.com. Check the calories on the foods you like to eat and prepare them without oils, and avoid frying anything. If you must, use olive oil pam, or plain pam, or I can't believe it's not butter. Eat 7 servings of fruits and vegetables in any combination. I snack every 2 hours, piece of fruit to keep from getting hungry. Pick your desired weight, 120, 130, 140 and multiply by 10. 120 x 10 = 1200 calories, etc. That's your max for the desired weight of 120 etc. If you exceed that you will gain weight. If you decrease you will lose. Exercise. Simple walking 30 minutes a day will burn 240 calories. It's a numbers game along with attitude and effort. Good luck BW. BTW, you look fine. Some can obsess with losing and losing and losing. Find a healthy weight you are comfortable with and maintain it. |

Calorieking is nice. I prefer Bodybuilding.com database personally, though.

222 and counting. I'm starting a new program tommorow. I plan to start and incoporate 1-2 supplements over the next four-six weeks. I am thinking of just doing a multi vitamin and flaxseed or fish oil and thats it.

Latest pic of me: ![]() Ive slimmed down enough, like I said, just doing weights now, working on abs etc. I'll take a better progress pic later, but my upper body has been getting stronger. Need to get more intense with my weight training. Right now, its mainly lighter weights at high reps. |
