Calling out WillisDaRaider and BK - Who are the Raider malcontents?
We keep hearing that Art Shell needs to weed out the malcontents and locker-room problems. He states the majority of the locker-room is behind him. To my mind, a majority can be anything from 51% to 99%.
So, how many are problems? How many players are we talking about? 2, 3, more? A dozen? Nearly half the team? How many?
BK (who does a great job with the site) stated a few weeks ago that some of the things around Raider HQ he can't say anything about, but would shock us. He was responding to a thread about Art Shell and the Mike Lombardi situation.
Well, I ask this, to both BK and Willis. Come clean. Tell us who the locker-room cancers that Shell wants to get rid of are.
We can all guess that Jerry Porter and Randy Moss are two, but together those two are not enough to cause such a major problem. Porter seems to have been alienated to some extent all season anyway. There must be more. So who are they? We can all speculate (and I hope we do), but at the end of the day, only those around the team can really let us know what is happening.
I'm getting frustrated by this big secrecy. We have a right to know because without us supporters the team are nothing.

BK will post what he can. Somethings can not be made public & will not be made. It is frustrating, but that's how it is.

Send a letter to Art he is the one who knows. WDR is not in the locker room nor is BK.

My guess is that the biggest problem for Art is Moss. Added to that, possibly, that Moss and or other players have the backing of other higher ups in the org., neutralising Arts effectiveness for the team, in other words, Art may have problem player or two, and is handcuffed from above to be able to deal with them. Think what you will of Art, but any coach must be allowed to do his thing when it comes to the team.
I guess for those who want him out of here, if Art is getting resistance from within the org., I guess thats good news. I think it is a power struggle.

Excuse me, but I'd not asking for a defacto description of greviances. I'm asking for a simple list of names, or at the very worse a number to give the scale of the problem.
The Art Shell supporters keep stating that he needs another year to remove those that are not onboard. That Art Shell needs to have a locker-room that is 100% behind him, that have bought into his vision.
Firstly, no locker-room will ever be 100% behind a single vision. You will always have a few that "will walk to the beat of their own drum" so to speak. But, if the locker-room is so divided, we would need a massive overhaul to instil the Shell vision and this would not be beneficial, so fire Shell and look another way. But if the number we are talking about is so few, then we should at least be aware of the scale of the problem.
If you were a casual observer watching the Raiders, you would consider players like Walter, Madsen, Crockett, Morant and Curry dissenters because they see the field less than erstwhile lesser talented players like Whitted, Brooks and Williams.

Agreed. no they are not, yet if that is the case they should not set themselves up as having inside information.

I believe that Al is not well and is not making alot of the decisions at this point. I also believe that Lombardi and Art are in a power struggle. I have no evidence of this first hand but just the way things are going I am pretty sure this is the case.

come clean???
just cause they have news on certain topics, don't mean they know every stance the LG will use in Sunday game...
come on guy.... whatever is happening with the Raiders has nothing to do with what the staff or well known members of this site know.
as Randy stated. they will post news when there is news that is allowed to be posted.
besides.. somethings are just better left unsaid!
