Are pop up ads ruining this board?

First off,


I love this site and appreciate the work put into making it the best on the net. I dont post often but I have been checking it out for years. However, lately I have been getting more and more ads when accessing this site. As a result, searching this site has become increasingly slower and frustrating. I became a premium member to support this site, but why all the ads if the members are the ones supporting the site?Has it really become that expensive to maintain where you need member donations and paid ads? I understand the sitewas slower do to all the traffic, but the ads are a huge part of the reduced speed.

By the way, the premium info this draft was also bare minimum. I was a bit dissapointed compared to years past as this years info was bare minimum and nothing that could not be derived from nfl.com or espn. I will get flamed for saying this, but it is just my opinion and part of my right as a paying customer..That said, I am still grateful for this great raiderfan site and will continue to support it. However, recently it
has slipped a bit in the areas I mentioned.

Hey bro, we're not running any pop-up ads on the site. From the sound of it, you have some spyware/malware on your computer...

We had a vote in the PREMIUM forums, and it was agreed that the ads will remain for all members... If you would like to have the members vote on this, please feel free to start a poll within the PREMIUM forums.

In regards to DRAFT content, we provided exclusive photos, the ability to listen to exclusive pre-draft interviews and one of our sources (WDR) provided updates leading up to the draft. All this, and you're not happy??? If this is the case, I'd rather refund your money. You signed up for one month of PREMIUM access ($7.95) and you feel unsatisfied?

People wont be content until we win 10 superbowls in a row and tickets are free, and then they will complain that the patriots are cheaters LOL
The only major problem I had was that i couldnt access the site yesterday, but i think it had something to do w/ my friends computer, because it wasnt too bad at home. Not everything willis reports is set in stone, and people need to realize that. He just posts whatever he hears. 8 bucks a month or 30 a year is nothing. You can spend that much on gas in a matter of days. And the pop ups are not that bad. I get them all occasionally, either close them or turn down your volume. Sorry, it's not that difficult. Pop ups are everywhere on the web, deal with it.

Like yourself I own and manage a business. My post was not intended to be ungrateful or a request for my moneyback. As I stated in my original post, I appreciate the site you have created and want to support it. Asking for a refund would be counter productive IMHO. I thank you BK for the explanation regarding pop ups as perhaps I need to reset my security settings, its just that I get more pop ups from this site then any other which delays my enjoyment of your site.

So thank you for the explanation, no refund is requested, and I am grateful for this site.There is no need to say you cant please everyone when a customer gives you some feedback. Take the feedback constructively, thank me for my input, and I can thank you for addressing my concern. When business is done insuch a fashion everyone benefits.

yeah this site was great at 1st but all these adds are a joke imo. I know they help run the site but man 1st it was just on top now on the side, adds in the middle of threads.


I liked how it was b4, and the site is slowed down cuz if it imo
