sorry mods in need to vent.

I dont understand why because i have no affilation with jerry mac but it is confusing and upseting to me how we accuse this guy of stealing info. Ban his site from this board but have no problem with members cutting and pasting his posts to this board. I mean that seems like a double standard.

i mean this guy puts great info out there everyday yet there are just a few times his stuff coincides with a WDR post and now he is a thief?

can someone please explain how this is fair or if it was acutally proven that he stole premium info?

There has been information that he obviously stole from this site. It is too strange that he was the only one else posting this information right after WDR posted it and no one else had it. If he credited RF.NET with the information it would be one thing but he continues to post it as his own info.

first off thank you for the response. i havent seen him post any info in a long time that matched a WDR post. however that doesnt really matter because there is info that im not privi to which is of course fine.

Please also understand that i have helped in the past when it came to notifying you guys about premium info that i came across so you were able to catch the person, so by no means do i think its ok to post premium info outside of premium.

but how is it ok that members cut and paste his posts into our forum?

I believe there was a decision made to allow the news into our site due to it being for the most part acurate and timely Raider news but not to allow links as to promote his website. I may be wrong but I believe this is the case.

I have always been a follower of Jerry mac's blog... I know of one or two cases he did post some news Willis had within a few hours, but reguardless, I saw BK a month ago state that they were allowed in the Blog forum, since it was a blog, but not 100% sure on the reg. forum, but i do know a Link is required, and many were just copying and pasting the whole blog.. us not directing to his blog, would be the same as he stealing our premium, so links are required.

but Ran had it covered... guess i just wanted to put in 2 cents.. ok 3 cents worth

the way i see it his info is free and ours is in premium...

He is a reporter, he is supposed to get information.

Willas is giving us info cause he is a fan, its not his job to report on the raiders (well it might be as i dont really know what his day job is) but i digress.

If Jmac is leaking the info that willas is leaking we wont be getting much more info as Willas could get caught. But it is a wierd situation none the less
