That's the new motto over in Oakland, as the Raiders decided to take a running back over a defensive or offensive lineman. Their biggest need going into the off-season was getting that defensive line (who ranked 31st against the run) sured up. Well, they signed New York Giant former first round pick William Joseph, who has done nothing in this league and they signed Lions castoff defensive end Kalimba Edwards.
Are those two players really supposed to get that defensive line back to respectability?...

The Raiders are not on the clock like they were last year at this time, but they need to have a good draft to get all of their needs. They will look to find a starting LT, add depth/a starter at DT, and get some wide receivers.

Raiders interviewed two prospects at the combine that I know of: Darren McFadden and Dexter Jackson. Does it mean anything? Well they both had good 40 times, so you have to factor that in given Al Davis's heart on for fast athletes.

Last Sunday against the Chiefs I felt at home. Once I take that step off of that BART train and head towards the bridge connecting to the stadium I feel so alive. My blood is pumping, I'm surrounded by fellow members of the Raider Nation and didn't see too many Chiefs fans there.

When I was a kid I was brought up to be a 49ers fan, which is my father’s favorite football team. My mother tried to dress me in Redskins gear when I was young, but I didn’t like them. There are talks in league circles that Walter will be traded today and if not, will be released with the rest who didn't make it. Russell (when he does indeed sign) will need to have a roster space waiting for him which will be vacant by Walter by the season start. I expect a deal to get done because Walter has so much upside that can't be ignored and he could succeed if he bought into Bobby Petrino's system in Atlanta.
