Got the Coaching right...

I think that it's about time that the Nation got a descent coach. Someone with a hand on the new and upcoming plays and also someone that's at least been in football in the last few years (Sorry, Art Shell, but you pick for Offensive coordinator was simply that... Offensive!) I think that if Al just lets Lane do what he's paid to do, things will start to finally look upwards for the Silver and Black. Al is still old school and sometimes you can't have that in the 21st century NFL... I mean, hey, bring the bomb back like Lamonica use to throw... Bring back the speed burners on the outsides that could outrun the whole league! I think that the backfield is looking good for now, but will it last? We finally have a franchise worthy quarterback and some healthy speed in the backfiled. If the offense can keep the ball a little longer than "3 and out", the defense will at least have a little time to rest between posessions... I remember a few too many games over the last few years that "we" had the ball for 10-12 minutes and so what does that lead up to? The defense getting exhausted and starting to die off in the late 3rd and 4th quarters... Al... Stay out of the coaching game... You're the owner, not the coach. You pay Lane very well to coach the team, let him do it. Give him 2 years to bring the Raiders back up to the top of the AFC West where they belong. It might not even take that long... "Just Win Baby"!!!!!
