JayCee's beer of the week! Today: Paulaner
Posted 03-04-2008 at 07:33 AM by JayCee
Paulaner is a beautiful colored Hefeweizen from Munich. Poured into a glass, you get a large white head that lasts longer than on other Hefeweizen.
The taste and smell is bready with banana and a slight spiciness. Connoisseurs in beer will also notice the slight similarity to a good English Ale, lifted with a silky consistence.
You should be able to get it in well assorted liqior stores across the US. Make sure you buy it bottled! Cool it down to ~4°C (~39°F)
Enjoy
